Aaron Lau

Aaron is the Founder & CEO of Gusto Collective, a firm he founded as Asia’s first Branding technology group, in 2020.

The Collective delivers best-in-class storytelling and immersive experiences across Web 2 & 3, powered by the latest technology. The Collective is made up of four specialisms in Web3 marketing services, an augmented reality experience platform, a metahuman platform, and luxury marketing services with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo.

Prior to founding the Collective, Aaron was President, International and CEO, North America at Cheil Worldwide, a global marketing firm listed on the Korean Stock Exchange, and part of the Samsung Group in South Korea. He led Cheil’s global business across 53 offices in 43 countries, outside of its home market of South Korea for over a decade. Prior to Cheil, Aaron was the Chairman & CEO of DDB Asia for over 17 years and led an integrated network of branding, advertising and marketing specialists in 26 offices across 14 markets in Asia Pacific.

Aaron is a recognized business leader, having sat on a number of advisory boards including the Shanghai Xu Hui District Mayor’s International Advisory Board, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council HK-China Business Council, etc. In addition to leading the Collective, Aaron also serves on the board of Parsons School of Design in New York, USA, The Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific Council, as well as The Design Trust in Hong Kong. He is a long-term member of CEO International and YPO Gold in Hong Kong and New York.

Evan Auyang

Mr Evan Auyang is the Group President of
Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based multinational
blockchain technology and investment company
focused on developing the digital property rights
ecosystem, including play-to-earn games,
non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance
(DeFi), blockchain marketplaces, infrastructure and
more.

Mr Auyang is also the Chairman of the Board of Civic Exchange, a non-partisan public
policy think tank. He serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on three boards: the Urban Renewal Authority, Sun Hung Kai & Co. Ltd., and Asia Financial Holdings Limited.

He is an Advisor for Our Hong Kong Foundation, a member of the Fintech Advisory Group
of the Securities and Futures Commission, and serves on the Innovation and Technology
Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Transport Policy
Committee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Development Fund
Committee of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Advisory Council for Institute at
Brown for Environment and Society for Brown University, as well as the Board of Advisors
of Hong Kong 2050 is Now. In addition, Mr. Auyang is a lecturer at the Hong Kong
Academy of Politics and Public Policy.

Prior to joining Animoca Brands, Mr Auyang was the Managing Director and Head of GLG
International (Gerson Lehrman Group), a technology-enabled expert insight platform where he ran and grew its business spanning Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific across 15 locations. Before GLG, Mr Auyang was the Deputy Managing Director of the Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) and a board director of Transport International Holdings Limited, the parent company of KMB. Prior to joining Transport International and KMB, Mr Auyang was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. Before that, Mr Auyang worked at Citigroup’s Derivatives Structuring and Marketing unit.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Brown
University and his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management.

Lewis Muir Lupton

Lewis is a highly experience creative technologist, born and raised in Asia's thriving tech hub. With a wealth of experience and expertise across multiple industries, brands, and cultures, Lewis is a pivotal member of the multi-disciplinary team at Shadow Factory. His ability to leverage creativity through technology has enabled him to deliver innovative solutions for global brands, providing customers with extraordinary experiences.

With over 7 years of experience of hands-on experience in pioneering frontier technology for entertainment and events, Lewis is the driving-force behind industry-leading innovation initiatives. As a trusted and highly respected figure in the industry, he is the go-to person for all things Metaverse related.

As the currently Chief Metaverse Officer at Shadow Factory, Lewis works closely with global brands and key agencies to develop bespoke solutions that address complex challenges and deliver optimal results. He is passionate about driving innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, with a proven track record in digital strategy, design thinking, and emergent technologies.

Overall, Lewis is committed to ensuring that Shadow Factory remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering exceptional value to clients and customers alike.

Head of Strategy | DDB Group

Adrian Ts'o

Adrian is the Head of Strategy at DDB Group Hong Kong. Joining in 2015, he has since led the strategic thinking on both local and regional businesses, with a focus on finance and real estate industries, while specializing in corporate branding and communications. His key client engagements in his time at DDB include Octopus, Bank of China, New World Development, Aptamil, Samsung, Hagar International, and McDonald’s to name a few.

With a pedigree spanning across brand strategy at Brand Union and brand management at start-up Nanoleaf, Adrian drives strategy in advertising through a rare combination of long term, big picture thinking and an astute insight into commercial implications. As a result of this approach, in collaboration with creative partners, he has produced multiple award-winning campaigns, as well as contributed to repeated agency of the year recognitions.

Born and bred in Hong Kong, Adrian was educated in the U.S. with a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His eclectic and diverse interests, ranging from mixed martial arts to crypto-currencies, from gaming to behaviour economics, have equipped him with the exposure and empathy to derive unique and genuine human insights that drive world-class work.

Director, CMO | Microsoft (Hong Kong)

Harris Chan

As the Director of Central Marketing Organization at Microsoft Hong Kong, Harris leads the integrated digital marketing strategy and event orchestration for the subsidiary. Prior to his role at Microsoft, Harris co-founded Cobo Academy, a coding school for kids. He also worked as the Director of eCommerce and Head of Partnerships at Yahoo Hong Kong.

Harris started his career as a software engineer at Microsoft headquarters after earning his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Director, Google Customer Solutions | Google

Nellie Chan

Nellie has close to 30 years of commercial experience, of which dedicated the majority of her time to digital. The businesses that she ran advised companies across the region on how to apply digital into their business / marketing strategies and everyday operations to drive results. Nellie has built and launched multiple digital businesses and currently runs the Google Customer Solutions business for Google Hong Kong.
Regional Creative Lead | EY Asia Pacific

Thierry Halbroth

With over 20 years of fully integrated advertising experience, Thierry has built his credentials in the digital space from the early days of the internet. In Asia Pacific since 1993, he has lived and worked in Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Pre-dominantly helping large regional accounts, he is an award-winning creative director whose passion and dedication has contributed to the brand equity growth of major international companies.

An active member of the global creative and communication community, Thierry regularly supports the industry through international jury duties and, for several years running, has contributed to the development of the HK4As as Chairman of the Digital and Interactive Committee, as well as Chairman of the Creative Committee and Hong Kong Kam Fan Awards. He is also an occasional guest lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His work has been recognized with over 100 awards at global creative shows and festivals.

Having started his career in Singapore with design firms WordMaker and Write-Angles Communication (Minale Tattersfield Asia), Thierry arrived in Hong Kong in the year 2000 as a creative partner for internet professional services firm’s Mercatela, working across Japan and Asia on Nikkei BP and British Airways. He then joined M&C Saatchi to lead its integrated creative services offering in Greater China, working with an array of key clients on digital strategy, creative and marketing, including British Airways, Qantas, Mandarin Oriental, P&G Prestige, eBay, BMW and ZUJI. But Thierry is mostly well-known for his 10-year stint with McCann Worldgroup, eight of these as global digital and creative lead of Cathay Pacific Airways where he oversaw the creative output for the airline worldwide. Key projects included many digital firsts, highly recognised global brand, and the airline product & services campaigns, and acclaimed Rugby Sevens integrated campaigns. From there, Thierry moved on to work on General Motors' Chevrolet business as Asia-Pacific’s creative lead and as a member of the Commonwealth//McCann Global Executive Leadership Team.

Prior to his EY appointment, Thierry was the Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner of Publicis Hong Kong where he was leading the agency and creatively driving its flagship regional clients – AXA, UBS, Renault and Marriott.

As Partner at EY, Thierry now leads creative ideation and thinking across Asia-Pacific, disrupting traditional thought processes to build stronger brands through purposeful sustainable solutions for EY’s clients. He is a member of EY wavespace Hong Kong, EY's design and human-centric co-creative center, which he helped build as Mumbrella's 2019 Asia-Pacific's Consulting Team of the Year, a mere year after its launch. EY wavespace is where he puts his creativity hard at work in the art of the possible, facilitating the design and experience development of innovative thinking workshops and solutions delivery projects. He also acts as EY’s Asia-Pacific's leader for Products, Services and Innovation, a division helping discover and shape what's next for customers.

As a testament to his innovative and creative mind, Thierry was most recently one of the recipient of EY’s 2022 Asia Pacific Innovation Award, as Greater China’s Ideator.

Head of Growth | The Sandbox

Erich Wong

Erich Wong is Head of Growth for The Sandbox Hong Kong. He is responsible for developing the business in the Greater China Region and for building partnerships with key brands and Intellectual Properties to support a large and enthusiastic metaverse community.

Earlier this year, Erich led the launch of Mega City 2, a major land sale on Hong Kong’s vibrant cultural hub in The Sandbox metaverse that is home to the finest brands, including Ocean Park, Standard Chartered, Regal Hotels Group and Tatler Asia to building a variety of experiences in Mega City 2. He is currently developing a creators’ community working with various local Universities and Creative and Design Institutions to promote voxel-based design and to bolster the development of metaverse ecosytem.

As a gaming enthusiastic with a background in design, Erich brings a wealth of experience in art, design skills and gaming to The Sandbox. He has a strong track record in business development and operations while working for startups and mobile game applications since 2011. Erich transformed his Web2 skillset to Web3 as he entered the Metaverse world in 2021.

Prior to joining The Sandbox, Erich worked for CanvasLand NFT as Chief Marketing Officer, where he spearheaded marketing campaigns and business operations across the region.

Previously, Erich was Marketing Director of nxTomo Games, where he was responsible for strategic planning of game features, licensing, operations, promotions, as well as monitoring the overall workflow of App production. During his tenure with the company, Erich achieved a HKD 5 Million sales record of Footballer cards in the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong (ACGHK) fair in only five days. He also generated over 300,000 downloads of BFB Champion football simulation game in nine month following its launch. He was a pioneer in monetizing football player characters in the NFT format. Erich’s other projects with nxTomo Games include Liars’ Inn, Puzzle and Dragon, Weather Report and NBA ClutchTime.

Earlier in his career, Erich was fashion stylist and designer at South China Media Group. He also has extensive experience in graphic and multimedia design in the creative and gaming industries.

Chief Marketing Officer | PayMe by HSBC

Jaslin Goh

Jaslin had deep and broad digital and customer experience across various sectors such as banking/finance, hospitality and retail by holding senior management positions in both client, management and consulting positions across North Asia, Asia Pacific and Greater China. She is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of PayMe by HSBC based in Hong Kong. In this intech startup within HSBC, she leads the Marketing, User Design and Customer Experience functions. She spearheaded the commercialisation of the payment applications, design engaging in-apps user journeys, foster strong partnership collaborations and raise the profile of the brand to lead the growth of customer base and usage programs. She is also an active speaker and Jury at various marketing, digital and customer experience forums in Asia Pacific, Greater China region. She is also honoured to be awarded “Women to Watch (Campaign Asia) in 2022”, “Top Marketing Leadership award by HKMA 2022”.

Suresh Balaji

Suresh is the Founder of Web3 Marketing Association (W3MA). W3MA is the world’s first community aimed at using the collective power of marketers to help build the next generation of the internet.

As a passionate advocate for Emerging Technologies, Suresh leverages his role as Global Head of Marketing & Comms at an international bank to nurture innovation and progress within the industry.

Suresh is a seasoned marketing transformation leader with deep experience in Marketing Technologies, Marketing Science, Data and Analytics, Media Transformation, Segment Management, Demand Generation and Brand growth. Suresh is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of HH Global, a leading marketing solutions company. He is also an Advisory Board Member of the CMO Council, Australasia Advisory Board Member of the Ehrenberg Bass Institute, University of South Australia, and a Male Ally for UN Women.

Suresh has held various leadership roles in strategy, sales, products, media and advertising, working for HSBC, GlaxoSmithKline and WPP.

Suresh is a chemistry graduate and holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Oxford. He is the recipient of The Said Prize for Academic Achievement presented by the University of Oxford. Suresh has been awarded as one of the Top 50 CMOs in the Asia Pacific region by Campaign Asia, and a finalist at American Chamber of Commerce HK’s WOI Awards for Male Allyship.
